Maarten Beart spent Months designing and simulating a better antenna that out preforms our current standard for video antennas, what he has come up with will change the industry!
The solution for the Tiny Whoop antenna is here, extremely tough and you can keep the far superior Circular Polarization.
This mod does take some DIY skills and some tedious patience, you will need to cut the PCB and scrape some of the solder mask off of the transmitter to attach this to the tiny Camera/TX. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Using the same method for converting to a dipole can be used to mount the coax to the transmitter, the third PCB can be removed to make it shorter and more compact, however the performance will be that of a standard Clover.
From the images below you can clearly see how much better the Pagoda does at producing the desired polarization with out inducing the opposite like our current goto's the Skew and Clover!
Please note that this is only for the antenna with an extended active element, the camera is not included!
Good as a transmitter antenna and as a receiving antenna.
This means that you will have cleaner video because you will not receive the reflected wave from your own transmitter and by using LHCP with RHCP you can more easily fly on adjacent channels with out losing video quality!
