We highly suggest putting a cover on the antenna you are going to put on the transmitter, we however do not suggest putting them on the receiver side. You can find them HERE

From the images below you can clearly see how much better the Pagoda does at producing the desired polarization with out inducing the opposite like our current goto's the Skew and Clover!

This means that you will have cleaner video because you will not receive the reflected wave from your own transmitter and by using LHCP with RHCP you can more easily fly on adjacent channels with out losing video quality!

Can you shorten it? Why yes you can!

We do suggest keeping the receiver the spec length of 90mm or longer, however the transmitter could be shortened to 30mm from the bottom PCB to the end of the SMA
